A native of Castroville, Texas and a 1984 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Tammy King has a background in education, and today, as a licensed Texas real estate broker, enjoys educating clients regarding real estate opportunities in the magnificent Trans-Pecos. Tammy moved to Fort Davis, Texas with her husband James to raise their children while James initiated efforts to conserve the beautiful Davis Mountains and other prized area landscapes.
Tammy founded Texas Mountain Realty in 2005, handling residential properties. She then became a real estate broker and formed King Land & Water LLC with James, focusing on working with buyers and sellers of ranches and other unique properties statewide. As a local resident and community leader for more than 18 years, she has established good working relationships with lenders and title companies and other industry professionals in Jeff Davis, Brewster and Presidio Counties and beyond. Tammy now focuses on the overall financial and business management of the expanding firm, ensuring the same quality service is extended in transactions throughout Texas.
